White Mustard

Sinapis alba
In the United States: Introduced · also called yellow mustard

White mustard provides substantial nectar and pollen rewards to honeybees, supporting colony buildup during its mid-spring to summer bloom in temperate regions. Individual plants produce 300-600 flowers over 4-6 weeks of peak flowering, attracting foragers to disturbed or cultivated fields. It prefers well-drained soils and full sun but may require weed control as it can self-sow prolifically in favorable conditions.
