Peak dandelion

Honeybees rely on dandelions for early nectar and pollen to build up colonies after winter, as one of the first blooming plants in spring; peak bloom hits April-May in northern regions; while nutritious value is moderate, it's widely available but can become invasive in lawns and disturbed areas.
