A late-season perennial aster providing nectar and pollen for honey bees and other pollinators during a period of declining forage. It produces numerous small white daisy-like flower heads from late summer into fall on bushy, branched stems with heath-like foliage. Tolerates poor, dry soils and drought once established; generally deer-resistant.
