Western Linden
Bees visit in large numbers for abundant nectar and pollen from fragrant flowers, often producing a light, high-quality honey; the tree is nicknamed 'bee tree' for this reason. Peak bloom occurs in early to mid-summer with flowers in drooping clusters. Low-maintenance deciduous tree tolerant of various soils once established.
