Texas buckeye

Small tree or large shrub producing upright clusters of creamy to yellow-green flowers in spring that supply nectar and pollen to honey bees. Blooms after leaf-out; all parts contain toxins that can deter some foragers or affect honey quality if overused. Tolerates drier conditions than other buckeyes and prefers well-drained soils.
