Tarflower
Woody evergreen shrub producing fragrant white to pink flowers with copious nectar on sticky glandular surfaces that attract bees. Native bees including bumblebees, sweat bees, and others visit the blooms in spring to early summer; honeybees may forage but the resinous stickiness can trap some insects.
