Tall Lespedeza
A native perennial legume producing lavender-pink to rose-purple flowers from midsummer into early fall. Honey bees visit the blooms for nectar and pollen during a period when other forage may be limited. It grows in sandy soils of woodlands, clearings, and barrens in full sun.
