Late-summer blooming perennial that supplies nectar and pollen to honey bees in moist to wet habitats. Produces large dome-shaped clusters of small pink-purple flowers that attract foragers over many weeks. Prefers consistently moist soils and may flop or require staking in fertile garden conditions.
