Primarily pollinated by specialized yucca moths rather than bees; honeybees may visit flowers incidentally but gain little nectar or pollen. Produces pendulous creamy-white bell-shaped flowers on tall stalks in early to midsummer. Evergreen perennial adapted to dry, well-drained soils in full sun; stiff leaves provide year-round structure with minimal maintenance needs.
