Privet
Ligustrum vulgare
Honeybees forage on privet for moderate nectar and low pollen rewards during its June-July bloom, providing summer support when other sources may be limited. As a common hedge plant, frequent pruning can eliminate flowers and reduce bee value. It is invasive in parts of the eastern US, so beekeepers should verify local status before planting.
