Prickly-leaved Tea Tree

Evergreen shrub producing clusters of small white flowers that supply nectar valued by honey bees, with some Leptospermum species in the genus known for nectar yielding bioactive honey. Blooms primarily in spring through summer depending on climate. Prickly foliage may deter some browsing but requires well-drained acidic soils in cultivation.
