Partridge berry
A low evergreen groundcover whose paired tubular white flowers provide nectar and pollen to bumblebees and other small native bees. Bloom occurs in late spring to early summer with individual flowers lasting only a few days; the plant spreads slowly by runners in moist acidic woodland soils. Berries form only after cross-pollination between flower morphs and persist into winter but offer no bee value.
