Ocean Spray
Honeybees visit oceanspray for its abundant nectar and pollen during its summer bloom period, providing a reliable forage source in the Pacific Northwest. Peak bloom occurs in June to July, supporting bee colonies when other native plants may be less available. As a native shrub, it can be browsed by deer and may require protection in some areas, but it establishes well in partial shade without special management.
