Ipomoea purpurea
In the United States: Naturalized · also called common morning glory

Annual twining vine whose trumpet-shaped flowers open at dawn and provide accessible nectar and pollen to honeybees during morning hours before closing by afternoon. Continuous bloom through much of summer supports steady foraging without producing major honey surplus. Self-seeds readily and benefits from support structures to prevent sprawling.
