Inland sea oat
Inland sea oats is a wind-pollinated perennial grass that provides minimal nectar and limited pollen to honeybees during its late summer bloom. Foragers may visit sporadically for pollen, but it is not a significant honey flow source. It prefers shaded, moist conditions and can spread aggressively by self-seeding, necessitating control in managed landscapes.
