Late-season perennial with clouds of small white disc flowers that attract honeybees along with native bees, wasps, and butterflies for nectar and pollen. Bloom peaks in late summer through early fall in open, well-drained sites. Deer-resistant and drought-tolerant once established; stems may flop in overly fertile soils.
