Giant Spiderwort
Honeybees primarily visit giant spiderwort for its pollen during early spring, offering a valuable resource when other blooms are scarce. Peak bloom occurs from March to May, with flowers opening in the morning and closing by afternoon. It spreads easily by rhizomes and may need division every few years to prevent overcrowding; stems can flop after blooming and benefit from staking in full sun.
