Frostweed

Verbesina virginica
In the United States: Native · also called White Crownbeard, Virginia Crownbeard, Iceplant

Provides abundant late-season nectar that supports honeybee colonies building stores before winter. White composite flowers attract bees from mid-summer through fall in partly shaded woodland edges and moist sites.
