Eve's Necklace
Honeybees are drawn to the fragrant, pendulous clusters of pinkish-white, pea-like flowers for nectar and abundant pollen during the early spring bloom from March to May, peaking in April. This small understory tree provides reliable early-season forage in its native range but does not yield surplus honey. It is drought-tolerant once established, though seeds are toxic to livestock and should be managed accordingly.
