Late-season nectar and pollen source visited by honeybees and other pollinators when most flowers have faded. Produces clusters of rose-purple ray flowers on wand-like stems from September into November. Prefers sandy or loamy well-drained soils, tolerates drought, and has no notable management quirks for beekeepers.
