desert willow
Honeybees are drawn to desert willow for its rich nectar, yielding good honey in its range; peak bloom hits May-June with continued sporadic flowering into fall for extended foraging support. Nectar robbing by carpenter bees can deter honeybee visits to some flowers, but overall it's a valuable late-spring to summer resource.
