California Privet
Deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub producing clusters of small, fragrant white flowers in early summer that provide nectar and pollen to honeybees. Bloom period is relatively short and flowers have a strong, sometimes unpleasant scent. Commonly grown as a hedge or screen and tolerant of pruning.
