Bushy Aster

Late-season aster providing nectar and pollen to honey bees and native pollinators when few other sources remain. Blooms over an extended period from midsummer into fall with small pale purple or white flowers on straggly stems in brackish or saline habitats. Forms dense clumps; tolerates wet saline soils but may require support in cultivation.
