Bush Honeysuckle
Lonicera maackii
Honeybees occasionally visit Amur honeysuckle for pollen but struggle to access the deep tubular nectar due to short tongue length, making it a minor forage source. Peak bloom occurs in May to June, providing early-season flowers. This highly invasive shrub outcompetes natives and should be removed rather than planted in beekeeping landscapes.
