American Beautyberry
Honeybees visit American beautyberry for nectar and pollen during its summer bloom from June to August, supporting foraging in the heat of the season. Peak bloom hits in July when small lavender-pink flowers cluster along branches. This native shrub suckers mildly and may be browsed by deer, but requires little management beyond occasional pruning.
