Wax Moth

Symptoms

Webbing in unused frames, tunneling through comb, frass.

Treatment

Freeze affected frames for 24-48 hours. Discard heavily damaged comb. PDB crystals for stored equipment only.

Prevention

Strong colonies prevent wax moth in active hives. Store unused frames in freezer or sealed containers.
