Symptoms

Fighting at the entrance, dead bees on the landing board, frantic activity in mid-day.

Treatment

Reduce entrance immediately. Cover the hive with a wet sheet for an hour. Move weak colony if needed.

Prevention

Reduce entrances during dearth. Don't spill syrup. Keep colonies strong and equal.
