Chalkbrood

Symptoms

White or grey mummified larvae in cells or on bottom board.

Treatment

Usually self-resolves with strong nectar flow. Requeen with hygienic stock if persistent.

Prevention

Hygienic queen genetics, good ventilation, avoid excessive moisture.
