New beekeeper in upstate NY near the Finger Lakes. Started with one nuc. Later purchased a second nuc that had been a local swarm. Then my first colony swarmed. We had a friend help us catch the swarm so now we are at 3 hives. Thinking about using VarroxSan strips on the second colony as it is unknown. The original nuc we got was treated for mites before we got it plus the brood break gives us some time on those two hives. Hopefully the virgin queen from the hive that swarmed mates this week.
